Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sent back nine boats fully packed with Rohingyas of Myanmar while they were trying to intrude into the Bangladesh territory.
The Rohingyas attempted to intrude into Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar though six points of the boarder after crossing the Naf River on Thursday.
Major Abu Rashel Siddiqui, Deputy Captain of BBG 2 Battalion in Teknaf, confirmed the matter to Samakal.
Vigilance of these points from where the Rohingyas are trying to intrude into Bangladesh territory have been increased, he added.
